Apple has launched new models of MacBook Pro with the latest M4 Pro and M4 Pro Max chipsets and Apple Intelligence in India. The Cupertino-based tech giant states, that these Macbooks are launched “to form the most advanced family of chips ever built for a personal computer”. Notably, Apple has also launched the new Mac Mini and iMac models with the M4 chips in India this week itself.

Apple MacBook Pro India Price, Availability
The Apple MacBook Pro M4 is available in 14-inch and 16-inch models, with starting prices of Rs 1,69,900 for the 14-inch and Rs 2,49,900 for the 16-inch version. Students can get an instant discount of Rs 10,000 on the two newly launched devices.
As for the availability, it is now available for pre-orders in India. It will go on sale in India on November 8 across the online retailers and offline Apple BKC and Apple Saket stores in Mumbai and Delhi respectively.

Apple MacBook Pro With M4 Specifications
The new MacBook Pro with M4 series chips comes with 16GB of RAM as the default. The 14-inch model can be upgraded to 64GB with the M4 Max, while the 16-inch version supports up to 128GB of RAM and 8TB of storage. Both models feature a Liquid Retina XDR display, with an option for a nano-texture version offering up to 1000 nits of brightness. The 14-inch model weighs 1.55 kg, and the 16-inch version weighs 2.14 kg.

The new series now starts with a RAM of 16GB double compared to previous generations. M3 MacBook Air also has been upgraded to start with 16GB of RAM.

Additionally, Apple has upgraded the front camera to a 12MP Center Stage camera. The M4 series also introduces Apple Intelligence, offering advanced AI features similar to those available on iPhone and iPad models running the latest A-series and M-series chips.
The new Apple Intelligence features include Image Playground, that lets users create unique images. Genmoji allows for quick custom emoji creation. Apple says that Siri will get smarter, with system-wide actions and personalized intelligence. In December, ChatGPT will be integrated into Siri and Writing Tools, offering expertise without switching apps.
The 14-inch MacBook Pro is equipped with Thunderbolt 4 ports, while the 16-inch variant features the latest Thunderbolt 5 standard. Apple claims the new M4 chipset extends battery life.
