Breaking Bad Great Noida: Cops Bust Meth Lab Run By Mexican Cartel With Delhi Bizman Link And Mumbai Chemist

In the ongoing Amrit Kaal, anti-India forces are in full swing, trying to tarnish the already gutkha-stained image of the country. In our own shuddh desi version of Breaking Bad, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Delhi has busted a full-fledged meth lab in Gautam Buddh Nagar of Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh. The agency has arrested five operatives, including four foreign nationals, and seized 95 kg of drugs estimated at Rs 150 crore. The NCB recovered a cache of both solid and liquid methamphetamine from the crime scene. A West Delhi businessman, a Tihar jail warden, and a Mumbai-based chemist are behind the lab in the Kasna industrial area of the town. NCB claimed that the busted lab has links with CJNG, the deadliest Mexican cartel. The raid was executed on October 25. Suspects were kept in police custody till October 27.

An offshoot of the Sinaloa cartel, the CJNG (Cartel de Jalisco Nueva Generación) or Jalisco New Generation Cartel, first showed their presence during 2009-10. It was founded by a handful of drug lords, including Erick Valencia Salazar (“El 85”). The CJNG mafia is currently helmed by Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, alias “El Mencho,” who has a bounty of $10 million by the American DEA. The cartel is equipped with modern weaponry and engages in armed conflicts with Mexican security and rival factions. The cartel has dominance in at least 27 of the 32 Mexican states and now seems to be expanding their presence in Southeast Asia as well. The criminal gang deals with drug trafficking, extortion, kidnapping, import and export of illicit goods and precursor chemicals, fuel siphoning, and you name it. Some of the gruesome tactics of the group involve public executions, displaying mutilated remains of enemies on streets, hanging rivals from bridges, and sharing killing clips on social media with absolute no regard for authorities. The militia syndicate has been involved in several acts of violence and terrorism, including ambushing police force (2015), killing several cops, shooting down a military helicopter (2015), assassination attempts of state prosecutors (2018), massacre of 19 members of Los Viagras (2019), and attack on Mexico City Police Chief (2020).

Initiation during recruitment in the CJNG cartel involves consuming frozen human corpses in ‘terror schools.’ Reportedly, they first teach how to cut people and sever from the extremities. The recruits are then given a choice to eat one of the pieces in front of the boss. A Mexican outlet in 2017 reported that even minors were found to be involved in the cannibalistic training of CJNG. One wonders if such a boot camp exists in India.

Reactions poured in, with several dropping the usual cache of Breaking Bad memes and others shocked over the presence of one of the deadliest Mexican cartels in India. One user commented that the CJNG cartel’s proliferation will spell doom for the Indian economy. Others jibed about the global recession, forcing the mafia to outsource their operations in India.
