‘I Accept Offer To Work At OLA’ Standup Comic Kunal Kamra Reacts To Bhavish Aggarwal’s Tweet With THIS Condition

Earlier in the first week of October, standup comic Kunal Kamra highlighted the growing complaints of OLA Electric customers over negligent services by the desi EV company. The EV startup’s founder and boss Bhavish Aggarwal did not take the post kindly, and during his rather brash X/Twitter spat, he offered Kamra to take up a job at Ola that will ‘pay better’ than his ‘failed career’ in comedy. What followed was absolute chaos for Aggarwal & Co.

Kunal Kamra has been highlighting the OLA issue over the course of October even as regulatory bodies like the CCPA tightened the noose around the Bhavish Aggarwal company. Irate users who were frustrated over OLA Electric’s nonchalant response and rude behavior at service centers started tagging the stand-up comic with their complaints. Seems like the complaints have worked and Kamra is up for a new job, but there are a few conditions. Kunal tweeted that he was left with no choice but to accept Bhavish Aggarwal’s comical offer, and he anyway feels like an OLA employee. He remarked that Ola can seal the collaboration by agreeing to four action points, including completion of all scooter repairs within 7 business days; temporary replacement of scooters if the repair is not done within 7 business days; or compensation of up to Rs 50,000 for delay in service or replacement; and that new OLA Electric bikes must be sold with 2 insurances 1) one for the scooter and 2) one for the scooter’s services.

What followed was more memes and jibes on Ola and its boss, Olan Musk.
